Lion troupe class are held on Sunday Afternoons from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM.

This class will improve the techniques of the younger and /or new members. New members are always welcomed at any age. Basic techniques will be emphasized and the use of the lion head and drum will be incorporated into the class. Lion troupe lessons are free to all members , non member’s fee is $50.00

$10 per child $15 per family
The CCLI Lion Troupe delights us annually at the Center's Chinese New Year's Banquet, scaring away evil spirits and bringing us luck and fortune for the new year. The Lion Troupe has performed at charity functions, cultural events and other organizations' Chinese New Year celebrations. The Lion Troupe appeared on television performing for the Long Island Children’s Museum. Members volunteer their time to coordinate these performances and practices beforehand.
Our Current Lion Master is Randy Yung and the Senior Lion Master is Richard Kam. They volunteer their skill and expertise to promote and preserve the ancient art of lion dancing.
